Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer – HVAC to lead and manage HVAC system design for pharmaceutical and cleanroom projects. The role requires strong expertise in HVAC design, regulatory compliance, and project coordination within GMP-regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review HVAC systems for cleanrooms, pharma manufacturing facilities, and controlled environments
• Prepare and review HVAC layouts, ducting designs, load calculations, and BOQs
• Ensure compliance with GMP, WHO, USFDA, EU guidelines, and other regulatory standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including architecture, electrical, process, and project teams
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and vendor submissions
• Support project execution teams with design clarifications and site-related queries
• Conduct design validations, audits, and documentation
• Optimize system design for energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
• 8 – 10 years of experience in HVAC design, preferably in pharma/cleanroom projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, air handling systems, and cleanroom classifications
• Experience working with GMP and regulatory compliance standards
• Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, HAP, Revit, or similar HVAC design software
